Agnes RF
Non-surgical facial contouring at Align
For years, there were two options for facial contouring; surgery or filler. Both had their pros and cons, but neither could offer what Agnes can!
What’s Agnes RF you ask?
Agnes RF (radio frequency) is a powerful, cutting edge device that provides non-surgical facial contouring solutions through precision microneedling. Agnes uses radiofrequency technology to safely target specific areas and heat the tissue in that exact area to a temperature that destroys fat while encouraging the skin to naturally increase collagen and elastin production. This results in cell turn-over and internal restructuring which makes your skin firmer and tighter.
With Agnes RF we can:
- Contour and tighten the neck and double chin area
- Eliminate undereye bags and wrinkles
- Provide upper eyelid rejuvenation and tightening
- Sculpt, tighten and contour the jawline
- Eliminate double chin and jowls
- Repair earlobes
- Diminish “Smoker’s Lines” above the top lip
- Cure, not just treat, acne by killing off the oil glands that can cause acne
- Melt stubborn bra fat

What to Expect With Agnes RF
The amount of treatments for Agnes RF largely depend on the patient and the area being treated, but in general most patients need between 1 to 2 treatments to see an improvement.
When you come to Align for your Agnes session, a topical numbing cream is applied to the area we’ll be treating. Then, using a handheld device, we pass over the area we’re targeting.
The treatment typically takes 30 minutes to one hour from consult to completion.
Some clients see same day results which should be permanent.
Answers Our Most Common FAQs
Who is not a good candidate for Agnes?
Individuals with:
- Uncontrolled diabetes
- Metal implants (screws, pace maker, heart difibulators, etc.)
Also women who are pregnant or nursing can not have this service.
How is this different from traditional Microneedling?
Agnes uses the same concept as traditional Microneedling in terms of using a small needle to penetrate the skin, however, Agnes is very precise which allows me to target small, specific areas. Another difference is the tip of the needle heats up slightly to provide fat melting capabilities. Lastly, Agnes has skin tightening benefits which traditional Microneedling does not. Comparing traditional Microneedling and Agnes is kind of like comparing apples to oranges. They do two totally different things and serve different purposes. Is there downtime?
There is no “downtime” per say, however, many patients will experience mild swelling and some bruising after treatment which may last for up to a week.
The double chin area may swell for up to two weeks.
How much does Agnes cost?
Cost depends on the area being treated, but to give you an idea here is pricing for some of our most commonly treated areas.

Do Agnes treatments hurt?
We make every effort to make the treatment as painless as possible by applying a topical numbing cream or using lidocaine injections in the area we’re treating. As a result, most patients don’t feel anything.
How long do results last?
Results SHOULD be permanent. Because this technology actually melts fat cells, once you see results they should last a lifetime if you maintain the same weight. That said, if you experience weight gain, there is a possibility the unwanted fat could return.
When it comes to treating double chin, which is better, Kybella or Agnes?
Great question. While I offer both Kybella and Agnes treatments, I can say I prefer Agnes to treat double chin for many reasons. Here’s a comparison chart and I wrote a blog post with more details that you can find here.
