Chemical Peels

Reveal smoother, healthier skin.

Medical grade chemcial peels at Align Injectable Aesthetics can safely and effectively reveal smoother, healthier skin while reversing the signs of aging.

What is a chemical peel?

A chemical peel is a treatment in which chemical solution is applied to the skin (typically to the face, neck, or décolletage) to remove the top layers.  Removing the top layer of skin helps to promote the growth of new healthy skin layers. When the skin grows back, it is much smoother, tighter, and much more even in skin texture and tone.

Chemical peels can:

  • Improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation
  • Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Improve acne
  • Even out your skin
  • Be the perfect compliment to a cosmetic injection

Types of Chemical Peels

Chemical peels vary in intensity from superficial to medium to deep. Superficial and medium peels are not as impactful and often used as part of a “relaxing” facial or just before an event.  The results are good but they don’t last as long as a deep treatment.

At Align, we offer the best medical grade chemical peels available.  To start, there are many different peels that help with different skin impurities so we do a thorough consultation to determine which peel you need to achieve your skin care goals.

After your consultation but before your treatment, your skin must be properly prepared.  Pre-treatment instructions can be found below.

At Align we believe in offering only medical-grade chemical peels for the simple fact that they work and provide long-lasting results, unlike those other fufu facials out there.

Details on our chemical peel options:

Micro Sensitive Peel with Dermaplane

The Micro Sensitive Peel is our red carpet peel combining physical exfoliation (dermaplaning) and chemical peel solution.  It is gentle, yet effective and requires no downtime so you can do this just before an event and walk about with a gorgeous glow!

With this treatment, you’ll enjoy dermaplaning which gets rid of “peach fuzz hairs” and dead skin cells leaving the surface of your skin smooth creating a blank canvas that allows products and makeup to do their best work!

The MicroPeel is ideal for individuals wanting to reduce the appearance of fine lines/wrinkles, dullness, laxity, hyperpigmentation and other skin imperfections.

This peel is suitable for all skin types including those with sensitive skin and because it is more superficial, it’s the perfect peel for first timers to try.

The cost for one MicroPeel treatment is $175.

Or, purchase a 3-pack for $450!

Advanced Corrective Peel

The Advanced Corrective Peel is formulated with a blend of medical grade acids and phenylethyl resorcinol.

Treatment with this peel helps to reduce the appearance of:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Sun damage
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Uneven skin tone and dullness
  • Acne breakouts and hyperpigmentation left from acne
  • Enlarged pores

All while softening the skin’s surface!

This peel really gets into the skin layers to work its magic, and while each individual is different when it comes to healing, on average you may have 5-7 days of social downtime. While you will recognize results after just one peel, to achieve optimal results a series of peels spaced 4 weeks apart is recommended, and a series of peels is what the majority of our patients do!

The cost for one Advanced Corrective Peel is $200.
Or purchase a 3 pack for $525!

TCA Smart Peel with Restorative Masque

The TCA Smart Peel immensely reduces the appearance of fine lines/wrinkles, pore size, skin laxity, and discoloration (hyperpigmentation). This peel can be used on all skin types and the majority of skin tones. The Smart TCA Peel features a mix of 15% Trichloroacetic Acid with 3% Glycolic Acid. Trichloroacetic Acid is the gold-standard ingredient when it comes to chemical peels!

As part of your TCA chemical peel, you will also receive a Smart TCA Restorative Masque-which is patented and exclusive for use post-TCA peel. The Restorative Masque includes a botanical blend that binds moisture to the skin and prevents the loss of hydration.

Because this chemical peel gets aggressive down in the skin’s layers, one can expect around 5-7 days of social downtime (each person varies). While you will recognize results after just one peel, to achieve optimal results a series of peels spaced 4 weeks apart is recommended, and a series of peels is what the majority of our patients do!

The cost for one TCA peel with Restorative Masque is $295.
Or purchase a 3-pack for $810!

Treatments Required

After your first treatment, you’ll see some results, but the gold standard for optimal results requires a series (4-6) of peels spaced 4-6 weeks apart from one another.

Answers Our Most Common FAQs

What do I need to do to prepare for my chemical peel?

Prep should start 10 to 14 days prior to your treatment.  Read detailed pre-treatment instructions here.

What is the post-peel period like?

Right after your chemical peel your skin may feel tight, and may appear red. For the first few days after your peel you may notice some mild swelling, dryness, and irritation. Your skin may also become flaky or peel (if you do not peel, this does NOT mean that the chemical peel was not effective). At this time, imperfections in the skin such as hyperpigmentation may temporarily look more noticeable/darker (this is normal and part of the process). Depending on the peel, by day five to seven, all side effects typically start to subside. By day seven to day fourteen, you will begin to see the formation of healthy new skin, After you have a peel done in our office, we will go over the do’s and don’ts post-chemical peel treatment with you as well as give you a paper copy of these instructions to take home with you.

Is there downtime?

The exact healing time varies per patient as some heal quicker than others. In general, you can expect to see mild swelling, dryness, irritation and/or flaking for up to 14 days post treatment unless you opt for our Micro Sensitive Peel.

Does it hurt?

The treatment itself usually doesn’t hurt although some patients do report that they experience mild irritation and discomfort at various parts of the service.
