Improve the Appearance of Under Eye Bags
In addition to treating your dark circles, under eye filler can also help improve the appearance of under eye bags. Under eye bags are those nice puffy spots right under your eyes that make you look like you haven’t slept in weeks! Even if you’re lacking in the sleep department, under eye filler can help reduce your under eye bags giving you a well-rested, youthful appearance!
Hollowing
Under eye hollowing makes the area underneath your eyes appear sunken in. Under eye hollowing tends to get more pronounced with age. Filler can also be used to correct under eye hollowing giving you a more rejuvenated appearance.
Why Align for Under Eye Filler?
There are some injectors that won’t treat the under eye area. It’s an area of the face that is delicate and requires advanced training in order to be able to safely treat it.
Not everyone is a good candidate for under eye filler. Because of this, it’s very important to work with a skill injector with advanced training such as Align’s owner, Brittanee Perez.
Brittanee has performed hundreds of under eye filler treatments. Not only is she experienced with placement but she also knows which clients will be good candidates for this treatment, and which ones will not. You don’t want to go to someone who is going to do this service for you just because you asked. You want someone that will be honest with you and guide you. That’s why you need Align.
Answers Our Most Common FAQs
Can under eye filler improve hyperpigmentation in the area?
No. Dark under eye circles are different from hyperpigmentation. If you have hyperpigmentation from post-acne breakouts, sunspots, or melasma, under-eye filler won’t help. Instead you should consider using a cream that contains the pigment lightening ingredient- Hydroquinone in it.
Who is NOT a good candidate for under eye filler?
In general, it’s best to schedule a consultation and let our injector determine if you’re a good candidate for this, or any cosmetic injection. That said, if you are someone who already deals with random intermittent swelling/edema in the under-eye area that comes and goes throughout the day randomly, you would not be a good candidate for under eye filler as filler itself attracts water and placing under eye filler in these individuals would lead to significant and prolonged swelling/edema/puffiness in the under eye area. Also, patients who have extremely ‘loose’ skin would not be a good candidate for under eye filler.
